Thanksgiving Treat Ideas

 Happy Thanksgiving🦃

These are some great and simple Thanksgiving treats that will look great on your table!

The first treat is Pilgram hat cookies. This is an extremely simple recipe that will take no time at all to make. All you need for this recipe is cookies, I used fudge striped cookies, mini peanut butter cups, yellow frosting, orange frosting, orange bubble gum or Reese's pieces. Once you have all the ingredients layout the cookies and then open enough peanut butter cups for how many cookies you are making. Then dip the peanut butter cup into the yellow frosting and then place it onto the center of the cookie. Then place whatever you got for the orange part on to the side of the peanut butter cup. Then repeat the steps for all of the cookies and enjoy! These are a great treat to place on your table for all of your guests to enjoy.

This next treat is just as simple as the last but still looks and tastes great. All you will need for this recipe is Oreos, candy corn, tan colored morsels, cookie icing, and candy eyes. The first step for this treat is sticking pieces of candy corn into the center of the Oreo to make it look like feathers of a turkey. Next stick the candy eyes on to the middle of the Oreo using the cookie icing to make it stick. Finally use the cookie icing to stick the tan morsels under the eyes to make the turkeys beak. Copy all of the steps to make as many of the cookies as you want and then you are done! These also make a great place setting for all of your guests.
This Thanksgiving trifle is the perfect Thanksgiving dessert because you can make it ahead of time and it can require no baking if you didn't want to bake something. The first step is to get all of the ingredients. You will need a clear trifle bowl, pumpkin spice cake (I baked mine, but you can buy a premade one from the store), a box of ginger snap cookies, instant vanilla pudding mix, milk for the pudding, canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and whipped topping. Once you get all of the ingredients start by mixing the pudding mix and the milk together. Then add in the canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice. Finally fold in the whipped topping and refrigerate for 1 hour. While your filling is setting you can cut your cake into 1-inch cubes. Once the filling has set you can start by placing half of the cake pieces into the bowl. Then break some of the cookie's pieces up and place them on top of the cake. Next spread half of the filling on top of the cake and cookies. Add another layer of the cake, cookies, and filling. Then refrigerate until ready to serve. When serving top with more whipped topping and cookie pieces.
