Christmas Treats

 Christmas Treats 🎄

Christmas time is here which means it's time for Christmas treats! Christmas is my favorite holiday and Christmas treats are my absolute favorite to make and eat! All of the recipes that I will be showing today are extremely simple and fantastic for gifts, dessert tables, or just for yourself!

Pretzel Hugs

Pretzel hugs are an extremely simple recipe that taste delicious. All you need for this recipe is circle or square shaped pretzels, Hershey kisses, and M&Ms (red and green if you want them Christmas themed). To make these you start by preheating your oven to 250 degrees and getting a baking sheet and lining it with parchment paper. Align the pretzels on the baking sheet with as many that you want to make. Place an unwrapped Hershey kiss on top of each pretzel and then place in the oven. Keep in the oven until the Hershey kisses begin to melt. It should take around 4 minutes. Then remove them from the oven and quickly press an M&M down on each one. Let them cool for about 10 minute and then enjoy.

Melted Snowman Oreo Balls

This is another super simple recipe that are delicious and adorable. All you need for this recipe is creme cheese, Oreos, vanilla candy coating, food coloring and mini-Oreos. Start by mixing cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended. I like to crush the Oreos in a food processor and then add the cream cheese and process it together. However, it can also be done by hand. Next shape the mixture into balls and place into a shallow pan. Freeze them for at least 20 minutes. Then melt the vanilla candy coating and dip the balls into the coating and cover them completely. Place covered balls into a pan with parchment paper and once all done freeze again. Once the coating has hardened decorate each one with eyes, nose, and a mouth. Then use the candy coating to adhere the hat to the head. Freeze once again to let the decorations hardened. Once hardened. serve and enjoy.

Christmas Tree Brownie

The final recipe is taking an already loved dessert and making it Christmas themed. This recipe is Christmas tree brownies. To make these start by making your favorite brownies in a square or rectangle pan. Once the brownies are baked and cooled cut them into triangles. Next pipe green frosting onto the brownie. Top with sprinkles and a star shaped sprinkle on top. If you want to you can also stick a candy cane or pretzel rod into the bottom of the brownie to make the tree stump. These make a great addition to your dessert table be adding a treat that everyone loves but spicing it up a little.

The video above has more examples of great Christmas treats that are easy and delicious.

Let me know if you try out any of these ideas and how they come out! 🎄
