Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone! Today I will be showing you some great and simple Halloween treats to add to your Halloween goodies. The first treat is chocolate covered pretzels. This is an extremely easy recipe for anyone to do. There are many ways to make them but the way I did it this year was getting orange candy melts and covering regular pretzels in the chocolate and then adding a green M&M for stem of the pumpkin. This is a great quick and easy recipe.

The next Halloween treat is a candy corn ice cream sandwich. To make these you start by making a sugar cookie dough. After you made the dough, you split it into 3 different sections to color the dough. You will need the most dough for the yellow then the orange and the smallest amount can stay the regular cookie color. After coloring the dough shape the dough to look like a piece of candy corn then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours. After the 4 hours remove the dough and cook the cookies at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. Once baked let the cookies cool completely and fill with your favorite ice cream flavor. Once you build all the sandwiches place them in the freezer for at least an hour and then enjoy!

The final Halloween Treat is spider cookies. For this treat you can use any type of cookie, but I usually do peanut butter cookies. The first thing to do for this recipe is make the cookie dough and bake the cookies. Once the cookies are baked you are going to take mini peanut butter cups and press them into the middle of the warm cookie. You can then let the cookie cool. Once cooled melt some chocolate and use the chocolate to glue to eyes on to the side of the peanut butter cup. Then put the remaining melted chocolate into a piping bag and pipe legs onto the cookie and that's it your spider cookies are done!
